CEO Shuffle at Panavision

For the second time in less than three months, a new president and chief executive has been named at camera and lens developer and supplier Panavision Inc. Billy Campbell resigned as head of the Woodland Hills-based company June 17 having been appointed to the position in April. He has been replaced by William Bevins, a director of M & F; Worldwide Corp., a division of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., the owner of Panavision. Bevins has also served as president and CEO of Andrews Group Incorporated, an entertainment media holding company, and as CFO of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. Bevins brings unparalleled operational experience to the table, which will help strengthen Panavision’s platform for future growth, said Panavision Vice Chairman Ken Ziffren. Campbell, who was most recently president of Discovery Networks, will return to creating, marketing and distributing content. “I will remain involved with Panavision and its affiliated entities at MacAndrews & Forbes in an advisory capacity, to assist in the development and growth of their respective businesses,” Campbell said. Campbell replaced Bob Beitcher, who had been president and CEO for about six years. Mark R. Madler
