Crowe Horwath LLP, which has offices in Sherman Oaks and is one of the country’s 10 largest public accounting firms, has combined with New York City-based Hays & Company, LLP. The combination will allow Crowe Horwath to better serve East Coast clients, and Hays personnel will be able to draw on Crowe Horwath’s vast pool of resources to serve clients, said Chuck Allen, Crowe’s chief executive officer. The merger also firmly establishes Crowe’s presence in New York and enables the firm to create new relationships with the strong relationships that Hays leaders have developed over the years, added Allen. The company has not announced whether there will be a name change.
