Failure to have an annual meeting for its shareholders has further put MRV Communications Inc. in non-compliance with Nasdaq rules that can lead to a delisting of its stock. The Chatsworth-based company received a letter Jan. 2 from The Nasdaq Stock Market, the third such letter since August. Nasdaq had previously warned MRV of possible delisting based on failure to file reports for the quarters ending June 30 and Sept. 30. The company has until Feb. 10 to file the quarterly reports and will ask for additional time to have the annual meeting and solicit proxies although there is no guarantee Nasdaq will grant the extension.
