Wolfman to Head Providence St. Joseph

Barry Wolfman will be the new hospital executive of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, beginning Jan. 1. In his role as executive, Wolfman will provide operational leadership, management and direction to the hospital. Additionally, he will lead Providence St. Elizabeth Care Center, the Breast Health Center, Occupational Health Center and the Roy and Patricia Disney Cancer Center, as well as off site laboratories. Wolfman has more than 25 years of experience as a health care executive. He was senior vice president and executive director of Fontana Medical Center and Ontario Vineyard Medical Center. He has also been senior vice president and service area manager for the Metro Los Angeles Service area. Moreover, he has served Tenet Health System in several capacities. Wolfman replaces former executive Patrick Petre, who left the hospital to become director of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton.
