Crown Media Holdings Inc. signed a multi-year deal to continue broadcasting its two Hallmark branded channels through Comcast. The deal gives Comcast the rights to standard definition and high-definition versions of the Hallmark Channel and the Hallmark Movie Channel. The high definition version of the Hallmark Movie Channel launches in March 2008. The agreement reflects Hallmark Channel’s and Comcast’s emphasis on quality, fair price and service to its respective subscribers and viewers, said Crown Media President and CEO Henry Schlieff.
