Video game publisher THQ Inc. will develop a role-playing game in conjunction with Big Huge Games to be released in 2009, the company announced. The agreement with Big Huge Games is the first step by Agoura Hills-based THQ into the traditional role-playing game space, said Kelly Flock, executive vice president of worldwide publishing, in a statement released Thursday. “THQ has built its business by identifying the right content to compete and win in the genres gamers are most passionate about,” Flock said in the statement. The un-titled game will play on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, Playstation 3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC, the company said.
