The Walt Disney Internet Group has acquired a website serving parents and parents-to-be, the company announced. The terms of the deal for the purchase of iParenting media by North Hollywood-based WDI Group were not disclosed. The portfolio of iParenting features both professional and user-generated content, including articles and message boards. The site will be folded into the Disney network of family targeted sites. The newly acquired site complements the division’s family-targeted, online brands, said Paul Yanover, managing director of Disney Online.
