Santa Clarita ranked 34th safest city in the country with a population of more than 75,000, according to a study by the Kansas research firm Morgan Quitno Press. Santa Clarita and Torrance are the only Los Angeles County cities to make the top 50 safest cities list. The rankings are determined by FBI crime stats.
