The Burbank-based on-demand entertainment service MovieBeam has signed an agreement with RadioShack Corp. to sell its product at up to 1,700 stores in 31 major metropolitan areas, the company announced Monday. MovieBeam delivers digital entertainment to about 41 million households through a set-top box and small indoor antenna. The movies-on-demand service offers 100 movies with up to 10 new titles automatically delivered digitally each week. MovieBeam, Inc. is a privately held company with investors that include The Walt Disney Company, Cisco Systems, Intel Corp., Mayfield Fund, Norwest Venture Partners and VantagePoint Venture Partners.
