Vegas Ticket Service Sees October Surge

Increased customer awareness and a larger number of shows led Tix Corporation to record business in October at its half-price ticket subsidiary in Las Vegas. Tix4Tonight sold $2.4 million in ticket for the month, as compared to $915,000 in sales for October 2005. The firm sold 56,000 tickets for the month, an increase of 119 percent over October 2005, the Studio City company reported. Tix4Tonight offers half-priced tickets to major Las Vegas shows. The increase in tickets sales reflects the growing number of shows, said Tix Corporation CEO Mitch Francis, in a statement. “Many of these new shows are some of the best in Las Vegas,” Francis said. “Further, new customers are becoming aware of us because of our excellent locations and increased supply in tickets.” Tix4Tonight operates three locations on the Las Vegas Strip with plans to open a fourth in the downtown area.
