Semtech Corporation, a Camarillo-based supplier of computer semiconductors, has named Mohan Maheswearen as president and CEO. Maheswaran will replace John D. Poe as of April 3, 2006 and will become a member of Semtech’s Chairman of the Board of Directors. Previously, Maheswaran was executive vice president and general manager at Intersil Corporation. Prior to that, Maheswaran worked for Allayer Communications, IBM Microelectronics, Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and Nortel Communications. Maheswaran holds a BSEE from Surrey University and an MBA from Henley Executive Management College in United Kingdom.
