Public Storage and Shurgard Storage Centers will each hold their shareholder meetings on July 26, the companies announced today. The companies have agreed to a merger, and they are currently preparing a definitive joint proxy statement related to the proposed merger. Shareholders of record as of the close of business on June 23 will be entitled to vote at their respective meetings.
