Investment group Maverick Angels has opened a Silicon Valley chapter. The early-stage investment group, which also provides educational workshops for entrepreneurs, currently holds investment meetings in Westlake Village and Westside L.A. locations. A new, San Mateo-based chapter will hold its first meeting in September in San Mateo.
