The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. has added a new economist to its stable of number crunchers. Eduardo Martinez joins the LAEDC’s Economic Research group from a post as an international economist at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. He has also worked at the U.S. Department of Labor and Texas Department of Economic Development. Martinez graduated from Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Long Beach and served as a LAEDC intern in the late 1990s.
