Qualstar Warns of Lower Revenues

Qualstar Corp., a manufacturer of automated tape libraries in Simi Valley, is expecting revenues to drop below their original forecast to between $5 and $5.1 million for the third quarter in contrast to previous estimates of $5.6 to $6.3 million. William Gervais, president and CEO of Qualstar said in a press release that the expectations dropped due to a lack of demand for one of the products from its Linear Tape Open libraries. Qualstar will release its earnings later next month.
