Van Nuys-based clothing licenser and brand management company Cherokee Inc. announced a 46.1 percent increase in net income for the fourth quarter ended January 29, 2005. The firm reported net income of $4.0 million, or $0.46 per diluted share for the fourth quarter, as compared to net income of $2.7 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, in the same period last year. The company also reported increased a 12.2 percent increase in revenues for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2005, racking up $8.5 million in sales, as compared to revenues of $7.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2004.
