Burbank Toughens Smoking Ordinance

The Burbank City Council has voted to ban smoking in virtually all public places in the city.

The ban approved by council Tuesday includes all city parks, buildings, public transit stations, pedestrian areas, sidewalks, alleys, plazas and at public, outdoor events and shows.

Calabasas and Santa Monica have similar ordinances.
